Hawthorn Heritage Residence – Full Renovation

This project involved the complete transformation of an early 1900s Hawthorn residence, carefully balancing heritage character with modern living requirements. The scope comprised a full internal renovation, major structural upgrades, installation of all new windows, and a complete external repaint.

Significant internal structural works were undertaken to reconfigure the layout, improve structural integrity, and support contemporary open-plan living while respecting the home’s original proportions and detailing. All internal spaces were stripped back and rebuilt, including new services, finishes, and bespoke joinery throughout.

Externally, new windows were installed to enhance thermal performance and natural light while remaining sympathetic to the home’s period style. The façade was fully prepared and repainted, restoring street presence and protecting the building fabric for the long term.

The result is a refined, light-filled family home that seamlessly integrates modern functionality with the charm and character of its early 20th-century origins.
